This extremely difficult 18.738 km circular hiking route will take you to the stunning area of Punta delle Guglie. The trail starts at the parking area, where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on this challenging adventure.
On the way, you will come across several points of interest. At 0.24 km from the start, you will find a drinking water source for refilling your water bottles. Further along, at 2.17 km, there is another drinking water spot. As you continue, at 3.94 km, there is an information point where you can learn more about the area. At 6.77 km, you will find the beautiful Lago Louserot, although it's not directly on the trail. The serene Lago di Luca is closer, located at 7.12 km from the start right along the trail.
Midway through the hike, at 8.53 km, you will reach the peak of Punta delle Guglie, offering breathtaking panoramic views as a reward for your efforts. As you make your way back, at 1.92 km from the start, you can admire a mesmerizing waterfall on the trail. Additionally, you will encounter various historic sites like wayside crosses and shrines along the route, adding cultural significance to your journey.
Given the trail's length of 18.738 km and an elevation gain of 1673.0 meters, this hike is only recommended for experienced hikers who are physically prepared for a demanding trek.
