This challenging hiking route will take you to the beautiful Estanys de Montmantell area, offering stunning views and a variety of points of interest along the way. The trail covers a distance of approximately 10.4 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1031 meters, making it a difficult hike that requires a good level of fitness.
At the beginning of the trail, you will pass by a picturesque waterfall about 0.6 kilometers from the start. As you continue on, you will come across the Refugi del Pla de l'Estany wilderness hut, a perfect spot to take a break and enjoy the surroundings. Further on, at around 2.4 kilometers from the start, you will find a couple of natural springs providing refreshing water along the way.
Around the midway point of the hike, at approximately 4.6 kilometers from the start, you will reach a shelter called Cabana, where you can rest and refuel before continuing on. As you approach the Estanys de Montmantell area, you will encounter several bodies of water, providing a peaceful and scenic backdrop for your hike.
Towards the end of the trail, about 5.2 kilometers from the start, you will find more water features and picnic sites where you can relax and soak in the natural beauty of the surroundings. As you make your way back, be sure to visit the information points and learn more about the Parc Natural de les Valls del Comapedrosa.
