This challenging hiking route will take you to the stunning Rifugio al colle Balur in the picturesque area. The trail covers a distance of approximately 9.35 kilometers and includes an elevation gain of 965 meters, making it a difficult yet rewarding trek.

Starting from the parking area at the trailhead, you will soon come across a wayside shrine and a drinking water station, perfect for refilling your water bottle. As you continue along the trail, you will pass by a picnic site and several information points providing insights into the Valle Gesso - Roaschia area.

Midway through the hike, you will reach a spring called Sorgente Dragonera, where you can take a break and enjoy the refreshing water. Nearby, there are benches and BBQ areas for picnicking and resting.

As you approach the Rifugio al colle Balur, you will have the opportunity to admire the stunning views of Monte Balur, a natural peak in the region. The alpine hut offers a cozy place to rest and refuel before heading back on the same trail.
