This moderate 6.3-kilometer circular hiking route in the area of Petón do Castelo offers beautiful views and historical sites along the way.

Starting at the parking area at the trailhead, hikers will pass by the Dolmen de Dombate, a historic ruins site located 0.3 kilometers from the start. This ancient structure provides a glimpse into the area's past.

As you continue on the trail, you will reach a saddle 2.41 kilometers from the start, offering a great spot to take a break and enjoy the surrounding natural beauty. Further along, at 2.71 kilometers, you will find a peak with stunning panoramic views.

The highlight of the hike is the Petón do Castelo peak, located 2.93 kilometers from the start. This peak offers breathtaking views and is a perfect spot to rest before heading back to the trailhead.
