Welcome to the hiking route to Punta Marsè! This extremely difficult 9.545-kilometer out-and-back trail offers a challenging yet rewarding adventure for experienced hikers. With an elevation gain of 1200 meters, this journey will take approximately 5 hours and 12 minutes to complete.

Starting at the parking area, you will quickly come across drinking water sources at the beginning of the trail to ensure you stay hydrated throughout your hike. As you progress, you'll encounter more drinking water spots at 1.14 kilometers and 2.06 kilometers from the start, allowing you to refill your water supply as needed.

At around 1.72 kilometers from the start, you'll find a peak that can be accessed slightly off the trail, offering breathtaking panoramic views worth the extra effort. Another peak awaits at 1.92 kilometers and can be admired from the trail itself. Along the way, you'll also pass by historic wayside shrines, providing a glimpse into the region's cultural heritage.

Bench facilities are available at various points along the trail, offering opportunities to rest and admire the surrounding natural beauty. Additionally, informative sites like "Scalate a Lithies" can be found 0.16 kilometers from the start, providing insights into the area's geological features.

For a quick snack or drink break, "L'Oca di Lithies" farm shop is conveniently located 0.16 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Further along, at 0.89 kilometers from the start, another drinking water source is available to keep you refreshed.

As you approach the end of the trail, a natural spring awaits at 2.01 kilometers from the start, offering a cool and refreshing stop before reaching Punta Marsè. Remember to check the weather forecast before embarking on this challenging hike and pack plenty of water and snacks to keep your energy levels up.
