This challenging out-and-back hiking route will take you through the stunning Cuerda de las Casitas area. With a total distance of 7.51 kilometers and an elevation gain of 286 meters, this hike is sure to test your endurance and offer breathtaking views along the way.

Starting at the parking area located right on the trail, you'll soon come across the Abrevadero, a water source just 2.72 kilometers from the start. Be sure to refill your water bottles here before continuing on your journey. About halfway through the hike, at 2.51 kilometers from the start, you'll reach a peak where you can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

As you press on towards the Collado del Burreño saddle at 2.62 kilometers from the start, take a moment to appreciate the natural beauty that surrounds you. Finally, at 3.76 kilometers from the start, you'll reach another peak that offers even more stunning vistas.

Although this hike is challenging, the rewards of conquering it are well worth the effort. Be sure to bring plenty of water, snacks, and sun protection.
