This hiking route will take you through a beautiful alpine area, with stunning views and challenging terrain. The total distance of the hike is 7.339 kilometers, with an elevation gain of 657 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take approximately 3 hours and 20 minutes to complete.
You will start your journey at the parking area, located at the beginning of the trail. As you make your way along the trail, you will come across various points of interest. At around 2.1 kilometers into the hike, you will reach La Rolla, a peak that offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.
Continuing on, at approximately 3.67 kilometers into the hike, you will arrive at Rifugio Gombo Alto, an alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy a meal while taking in the scenic vistas.
As you push further along the trail, you will pass by Punta Piagnola and Monte Bronzone, two more peaks that provide spectacular views but are slightly off the main trail.
It is important to note that this route is an out-and-back trail, so you will retrace your steps on the way back to the starting point.
