This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Mégathérium, offering a 7.22-kilometer trail with an elevation gain of 34.0 meters. The duration of this hike is approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes, making it a somewhat difficult but manageable journey.

As you embark on this circular route, you will come across several points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find the Mare de Franchard, a serene water body located just 1.23 kilometers from the start. Further along, at around 1.27 kilometers, you will encounter the Centre d'Ecotourisme and a shelter for your convenience.

Midway through the hike, at approximately 1.8 kilometers, you will reach the Mare aux Pigeons, another picturesque water feature worth exploring. For a unique viewpoint, head to La-Roche-qui-pleure at 1.15 kilometers from the start.

As you continue on, you will pass by several other attractions including the Fontaine des Ermites, the Caverne Ténébreuse, and the Oeil des Nations, each offering a different experience to enrich your hike.
