This extremely difficult hiking route will take you along the Fagerstraße, covering a distance of 13.267 kilometers with an elevation gain of 927 meters. The estimated duration for this challenging hike is around 5 hours and 23 minutes.

Starting at the parking area at the beginning of the trail, hikers will pass by various points of interest along the way. About 5.16 kilometers into the hike, you will find a viewpoint that offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding area. A little further along the trail at 6.63 kilometers, another viewpoint can be found for more breathtaking scenery.

For those looking to challenge themselves further, a peak known as Hinterer Fager is also located at approximately 5.16 kilometers from the start, although it is not directly on the trail. Additionally, a historic wayside cross can be spotted around the same distance from the starting point.

As this is an out-and-back route, hikers will retrace their steps on the way back, passing by these points of interest once again. It is essential to be well-prepared for this trek, as it is rated as extremely difficult due to its length and elevation gain.
