This challenging hiking route takes you to the stunning Punta Mudaloru in Sardinia. Starting from the parking area at Cala Sisine, you will embark on an 8.9-kilometer journey with an elevation gain of 1046 meters.
Along the way, you will pass by several points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, you will come across the entrance to Grotta del Fico, a captivating cave worth exploring. Further along, you will reach the peak of Bruncu D'Urele, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.
As you continue on, you will encounter Bruncu e S'Abba, another peak with a slightly off-trail location. Make sure to stay on the trail for safety. Nearby, you will find Grotta d'Urele, a cave entrance that adds to the adventurous experience.
The highlight of the hike is reaching Punta Mudaloru, a picturesque peak that will reward you with panoramic views. At the end of the trail, you can stop by Olobissi - Cala Biriala for some information about the area before heading back.
This out-and-back route is estimated to take around 4 hours and 40 minutes to complete.
