Starting off, you will find a parking area just 0.25 kilometers from the trail. As you continue on your journey, you will come across the historic Casino de Vernet-les-Bains, located 0.23 kilometers from the start. Make sure to take a moment to admire the views from the viewpoint called "Le Belvédère" at the beginning of your hike.

Midway through the trail, you will reach the peak known as Pic de la Pena, standing at 1.63 kilometers from the start. This is a great spot to take a breather and enjoy the panoramic views of the surrounding area. Further along, at 1.18 kilometers from the start, you will encounter another peak offering stunning vistas.

On the way back, don't forget to stop at the Resto-cave Le Thermal restaurant, just 0.09 kilometers from the start, to replenish your energy with a delicious meal. Additionally, you'll find a fountain called Source Elise at 0.14 kilometers from the start where you can refill your water bottle.
