This hiking route will take you through the beautiful area surrounding Monte Prato. The trail is 14.835 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 1285 meters, making it an extremely difficult trek that will take around 6 hours and 38 minutes to complete.
As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area at the beginning of the trail. About 0.88 kilometers from the start, you will find an information point called Monte Ginepro. This peak is located 4.5 kilometers from the start of the trail and offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape.
Continuing on, approximately 3.33 kilometers into the hike, you will pass by a spring called La Fontanella. This refreshing stop is perfect for refilling your water bottle and taking a short break. As you make your way towards the turnaround point, you will encounter the peak of Monte Prato, standing at 7.42 kilometers from the starting point.
On the way back, at around 1.58 kilometers from the start, you will find another spring called Fontanile Pretestrette. This natural water source provides a peaceful spot to rest and rehydrate before completing the hike. Additionally, there is an information point located 1.51 kilometers from the start to learn more about the area.
