This extremely difficult hiking route will take you on a 33.37-kilometer journey to the beautiful Conca d'Oru area. The trail starts at Agriturismo Su Lilloni, a restaurant located just 0.05 kilometers from the beginning of the hike. Don't forget to fuel up before embarking on this challenging adventure!
As you make your way along the trail, you'll come across various points of interest. About 1.93 kilometers into the hike, you'll find a water source where you can refill your bottles. Around the 15.35-kilometer mark, you'll reach S'Arcu s'Enna e sa Craba, a saddle where you can take a break and enjoy the stunning views.
Continuing on, at approximately 16.69 kilometers, you'll reach the peak of Conca d'Oru. This is the highlight of the hike, offering panoramic views of the surrounding area. As you head back towards the starting point, you'll pass by the historic Disastro aereo settembre 1979 wayside cross, located at the same point as the peak.
With an elevation gain of 898 meters, this hike will challenge even experienced hikers. Make sure to bring plenty of water, snacks, and proper hiking gear.
