This hiking route takes you through a challenging 16.5-kilometer trail with an elevation gain of 908 meters, making it extremely difficult but rewarding for experienced hikers. The trail is an out-and-back route, starting at the parking area near Rázcestie Zverovka.

As you begin your journey, you will come across an information point at Rázcestie Zverovka where you can gather some insights about the area. Along the way, at about 8.27 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peak of Rákoň, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. This is a great spot to take a break and enjoy the scenery.

Further along the trail, at approximately 5.63 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the peak of Grześ / Lúčna, another picturesque location to admire the beauty of nature. As you continue your hike, you may come across several information points such as Informačné stredisko TANAPu and Rázcestie Látaná dolina, providing you with valuable information about the area.

Additionally, there are facilities like restaurants like Šindľovec, shelters, springs, and even a memorial at Partizánsky cintorín along the trail, offering you opportunities to rest and rejuvenate during your hike.

Towards the end of the trail, at around 7.26 kilometers from the start, you will reach another peak at Rakoń / Rákoň, marking the turnaround point of the route. Here, you can take in the breathtaking views before heading back the way you came.

Before embarking on this challenging hike, make sure to bring plenty of water, snacks, and proper hiking gear. It is advisable to check the weather forecast and trail conditions beforehand to ensure a safe and enjoyable hiking experience.
