This challenging 8.406 km circular hiking route will take you through the stunning Aizkorri mountain range. With an elevation gain of 734.0 meters and a duration of approximately 3 hours and 46 minutes, this trail is classified as difficult, so make sure to be prepared with proper gear and sufficient water.

The hike begins at Aldaola parking, where you can start your trek with ease. As you make your way along the trail, you will come across various points of interest. Around 0.5 km from the start, you'll find the San Adriango mendi-aterpea alpine hut, a perfect spot to take a break and enjoy the scenic views.

Further along the trail, at approximately 3.13 km from the start, you'll reach the Aizkorriko Aterpea wilderness hut, offering a cozy place to rest and refuel before continuing your journey. As you venture onwards, don't miss the Estación megalítica de Aizkorri Estazio Megalitikoa and other informative sites along the way to enhance your hiking experience.

As you reach the peak of Aitxuri at 3.57 km from the start, take in the breathtaking panoramic views before heading towards Aketegiko erpina, located at 4.12 km from the start. At this point, you'll have covered some of the most challenging parts of the trail, so take your time to rest and enjoy the surroundings.

Throughout the hike, keep an eye out for the Baratzondoko iturria drinking water source at 0.5 km from the start to stay hydrated during your adventure. Additionally, be sure to check the weather forecast before setting out and bring appropriate clothing and gear for a safe and enjoyable hike.
