This hiking route takes you through the historic area of West Chang'an Street in West City District. The trail is approximately 1.031 kilometers long with no elevation gain, making it super easy for hikers of all levels.
As you start your journey, you will come across the City Gate, known as 端门, located just 0.04 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Further along, at 0.13 kilometers, you will find the Laijinyuxuan Tea House, a perfect spot to take a break and enjoy a cup of tea.
Continuing on, at 0.22 kilometers, you will pass by the Peace Protection Memorial, also known as 保卫和平坊, a historic site worth exploring. At 0.27 kilometers, you will encounter both the Shejitans and Nantanmen, an artwork and city gate respectively, adding to the cultural experience of the hike.
Midway through the trail at 0.37 kilometers, you will come across Xingshengting, an artwork, and Xitamen, a city gate, enriching your journey with more historical landmarks. Finally, as you reach the end of the trail, at 0.41 kilometers, you will find shelters and parking facilities for your convenience.
