This challenging hiking route will take you through a scenic area with a total distance of 7.109 kilometers and an elevation gain of 365 meters. The total duration for this hike is approximately 2 hours and 33 minutes.
Starting at the Belvédère, you will have the opportunity to enjoy breathtaking views of the surroundings before embarking on the trail. Along the way, you will come across various Points of Interest (POIs) that will enhance your hiking experience.
At the beginning of the trail, you will find the Auberge du Roc Banut, a restaurant where you can grab a bite to eat before starting your journey. As you continue onwards, you will pass by a memorial and a drinking water point, providing you with essential amenities for your hike.
Midway through the trail, you will encounter ruins and informational points such as the Château Gaillard and the Chaise curule, adding a historical touch to your adventure. Be sure to take a moment to appreciate the Gorges de la Dourbie viewpoint, offering stunning panoramic views of the landscape.
