Hiking : Neuer Weg

This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Neuer Weg. The trail is 6.959 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 936.0 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding trek.

As you start your journey, you will come across Steinegger, a restaurant located right at the beginning of the trail. Further along, at about 0.99 kilometers in, you will find a shelter where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings. Nearby, there is also a drinking water station for you to replenish your water supply.

As you continue on, at approximately 0.8 kilometers into the trail, you will encounter a viewpoint that offers stunning views of the area. A bit further, at 1.05 kilometers in, there is a bench where you can rest and take in the scenery.

Midway through the hike, at 2.66 kilometers, you will reach Furgglauer Scharte - La Forcolana, a saddle point that offers panoramic views of the landscape. Along the way, there are also informational points and benches where you can learn more about the area and rest during your journey.

At 3.48 kilometers into the hike, you will find more informational points and benches to explore. As you make your way back, at 1.23 kilometers from the start, you will come across a wayside shrine that adds a touch of historic charm to the trail.
