This hiking route takes you through the stunning area surrounding the Hintere Meteorwand. The trail is 3.959 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 104 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels. The estimated duration for this hike is about 1 hour and 10 minutes.
As you start your journey, you will come across the Holy Monastery of St. Nicholas Anapausas, a historic monastery located just 0.07 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. This is a great spot to explore and learn about the history of the area.
About 0.71 kilometers into the hike, you will find a climbing area, perfect for adventure enthusiasts looking for an extra challenge. Further along the trail at 1.86 kilometers, you will reach Peak Ftelias, a natural peak offering panoramic views of the surroundings.
During your hike, be sure to take a break at the bench located 0.04 kilometers from the start to rest and enjoy the scenery. You will also encounter a drinking water stop at the 0.0 kilometer mark for refilling your water supply.
