Welcome to the Stombaershoek hiking route! This easy out-and-back trail spans approximately 2.873 kilometers with no elevation gain, making it perfect for hikers of all levels.

Starting at Stombaershoek, you will begin your journey at the parking area, which is conveniently located right at the trailhead. Make sure to bring plenty of water and check the weather forecast before heading out.

As you make your way along the trail, you will come across various points of interest. About 0.05 kilometers from the start, you will find a viewpoint where you can take in scenic views of the surrounding area. Further along the trail, at around 0.45 kilometers, there is a natural water source, perfect for refilling your water bottle.

Midway through the hike, at 1.44 kilometers, you will encounter another water feature. This spot is ideal for a rest and a quick snack before heading back to the starting point.

Although the trail is relatively short and easy, be sure to stay on the designated path and respect the natural surroundings. Enjoy the tranquility of the Stombaershoek area and take your time exploring the beauty of this nature reserve.
