This hiking route will take you to the Signal de Saint-André area, offering stunning views and interesting points of interest along the way. The trail is relatively short, with a distance of 1.211 kilometers and an elevation gain of 68 meters, making it a super easy hike suitable for beginners and families.
As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area, where you can leave your vehicle before setting off on the trail. About 0.2 kilometers from the beginning, you'll find a memorial, located a short distance off the trail. As you continue onward, at about 0.52 kilometers from the start, you'll encounter a wayside cross and an information point providing insights into the area's history.
One of the main highlights of the hike is the Signal de Saint-André peak, located approximately 0.61 kilometers from the start. This peak offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, making it a great spot to take a break and soak in the scenery. Additionally, there are two viewpoints along the trail, one at 0.53 kilometers from the start and another with the name "Belvédère du Signal de Saint-André-la-Côte" at the same distance marker.
The route follows an out-and-back path, allowing you to retrace your steps on the way back. Remember to bring plenty of water, as the trail is relatively short but can still be demanding, especially on hot days.
