This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Cerro de Garabitas, starting at an elevation of 587 meters. The destination of the hike is the peak of Cerro de Garabitas, which stands at 672 meters high. The total distance of the route is 4.121 kilometers with an elevation gain of 66 meters, and it is expected to take around 55 minutes to complete.
As you start your hike, you will come across the Fuente de San Roque, a natural water source located just 1 kilometer from the starting point. This is a great spot to refill your water bottle before continuing on your journey. Along the way, you will also encounter the Cerro de Morán peak, named after the stunning views it offers, just 1 kilometer from the start.
Further along the route, approximately 2 kilometers from the start, you will reach a viewpoint known as Mirador del Repartidor, where you can take in panoramic views of the surrounding area. The trail also passes by the Fuente del Repartidor, another drinking water source, located 1 kilometer from the start.
As you near the end of the hike, you will reach the destination of Cerro de Garabitas, a prominent peak with breathtaking views of the landscape below. From here, you can admire the natural beauty of the area before making your way back to the starting point.
