This hiking route takes you through the picturesque area surrounding Großer Wasserkogel. The trail is 15.735 kilometers long and has an elevation gain of 841 meters, making it extremely difficult. It is estimated to take about 5 hours and 44 minutes to complete.

As you begin your adventure, you will come across the Gasthof Krug restaurant, located just 0.04 kilometers from the start of the trail. This is a great spot to grab a meal or refreshments before or after your hike. Further along the trail, you will find a parking area just at the beginning of the route, making it convenient for you to park your vehicle before starting your hike.

About 1.39 kilometers into the trail, you will pass by a historic wayside shrine, offering a glimpse into the region's past. As you continue onwards, at 4.46 kilometers into the hike, you will encounter a natural spring where you can refill your water bottle and take a break.

One of the highlights of the hike is reaching the peak of Großer Wasserkogel, which is located 7.28 kilometers from the start of the trail. From this vantage point, you will be rewarded with stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

Given the length and elevation gain of this hike, it is essential to come prepared with plenty of water, snacks, and appropriate hiking gear.
