This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Spluga del Cippo on SP12. The trail is 5.113 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 356 meters, making it of moderate difficulty. It is estimated to take about 2 hours and 4 minutes to complete.

As you start your hike, you will come across Contrada Tommasi information point at 0.08 kilometers from the beginning of the trail, where you can learn more about the area. Further along at 1.97 kilometers, you will find the entrance to Grotta del ciabattino and 1.97 kilometers in the same distance, you will come across the entrance to Spluga della Preta cave.

Heading onwards, at 2.09 kilometers, there is a water source located on the trail, and at 2.17 kilometers, you will find another information point near Grotta del Ciabattino. As you continue your journey, at 2.26 kilometers, you will find another water source to refill your supplies, and at 2.56 kilometers, there are interesting rock formations to explore.

It is advisable to bring plenty of water, snacks, and appropriate hiking gear for this trail. Make sure to check the weather forecast before embarking on your adventure. The route is an out-and-back type, so you will return to the starting point after reaching the end of the trail.
