This hiking route takes you through the picturesque area of Rue du Canal. The trail is 3.266 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 84 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.

Starting off at the trailhead, you will find parking facilities for your convenience, located just 0.05 kilometers from the start. As you progress, you will come across several points of interest along the way. At 0.07 kilometers from the start, you will find the Bierstub d'Eselbahn restaurant, an ideal spot to grab a bite to eat.

Continue on the trail, and at 1.15 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Krappenfels-Lutzelbourg viewpoint, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape. If you need a break, there are shelters and benches available at various points along the trail.

At 1.63 kilometers from the start, you will encounter a beautiful waterfall, adding a touch of serenity to your hike. As you make your way back, feel free to stop at the picnic site located 1.2 kilometers from the start for a relaxing break.
