This challenging circular hiking route will take you through the stunning natural beauty of the Rifugio Alberto Grassi area. With a total distance of 9.793 kilometers and an elevation gain of 928 meters, this hike is best suited for experienced hikers.
Starting at the trailhead, you'll first encounter a parking area right at the beginning of the route. As you continue on, approximately 0.43 kilometers from the start, you'll pass by Agriturismo La Baita, a charming restaurant and farm where you can grab a meal or snack.
As you trek further along the trail, at around 3.67 kilometers in, you'll reach the Bocchetta di Valbona saddle, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Nearby, you'll also come across the Zuc di Valbona peak at a distance of 3.89 kilometers from the start.
