This challenging hiking route in the Šance area covers a distance of 7.786 kilometers with an elevation gain of 542 meters. The estimated duration for completing this hike is around 3 hours and 9 minutes.

Starting at the parking area at Soriška Planina, you will begin your journey towards the first point of interest, Bohinjsko sedlo, a natural saddle located right on the trail. As you continue onwards, you will pass by Litostrojska koča, an alpine hut, perfect for a quick rest stop about 0.29 kilometers from the start.

The trail will then lead you to Vrh Bače, another scenic saddle around 3.35 kilometers into the hike. Along the way, you will encounter Slatnik, a natural peak approximately 1.86 kilometers from the starting point. This is a great spot to take in panoramic views of the surrounding area.

Midway through the hike, you'll reach Ovčarski stan, a shelter located 1.64 kilometers from the start, providing a nice place to rest and refuel before continuing on.

As you make your way back, you can also explore other points of interest such as Kor, a natural peak 1.6 kilometers from the starting point, and Šance, another peak situated around 3.89 kilometers into the hike.
