Welcome to the hiking route to Kor in the beautiful area surrounding Soriška Planina. This moderate 3.333-kilometer trail with an elevation gain of 276 meters offers stunning views and a variety of points of interest along the way.
Starting at the parking area in Soriška Planina, you will first come across Litostrojska koča, an alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy some refreshments just 0.29 kilometers from the start. Continuing on, you will pass by Bohinjsko sedlo, a picturesque saddle located right on the trail.
As you make your way towards Kor, you will encounter Ovčarski stan, a cozy shelter 1.67 kilometers into the hike. This is a great spot to rest and take in the surrounding nature before continuing on. Further along the trail, you will find Kor peak itself, located at the end of the route. Be sure to take in the panoramic views from the summit before heading back the way you came.
It is important to note that there is a campsite, Soriška planina, located just 0.05 kilometers off the trail, offering a convenient accommodation option for those looking to extend their stay in the area.
