This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding the Zoo Aquarium de Madrid, located along Carretera de Zarzón in Madrid. The trail is a circular route, covering a distance of approximately 2.5 kilometers with no significant elevation gain, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.
As you begin your journey, you'll pass by several points of interest. At the start of the trail, you'll find convenient parking facilities for those arriving by car. Further along, you'll come across a memorial dedicated to Lord Baden Powell, a significant historical figure.
During your hike, you'll have the opportunity to see various water features, such as Fuente de Los Caños and Fuente de los Tres Caños, providing a refreshing sight along the way. Additionally, there are several drinking water stations available to refill your water bottles.
For a break or meal stop, consider visiting the Bagaray restaurant midway through the trail. You can also explore the Auto tren attraction and gather information about the area at the Casa de Campo information center.
As you near the end of the route, you'll pass by the Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente artwork before returning to the Zoo Aquarium de Madrid where you started.
