This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with stunning views and varied terrain. The trail is 7.578 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 379 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike. It is expected to take about 2 hours and 42 minutes to complete.
Starting at the parking area, you will make your way through the trail. At the beginning of the hike, you will come across a wayside shrine, a perfect spot to take in the peaceful surroundings. Further along the trail, you will find a drinking water point where you can refill your water bottle.
As you continue, you will encounter a waterfall at 1.85 kilometers from the start, offering a refreshing break and a photo opportunity. The trail then leads you to an information point at 0.14 kilometers from the start, providing interesting insights about the area.
Midway through the hike, you will reach a restaurant called "Le Village de Thumel" where you can rest and grab a bite to eat. Nearby, there is a drinking water point for you to replenish your fluids.
Towards the end of the hike, at 3.79 kilometers from the start, you will arrive at the Rifugio Gian Federico Benevolo, an alpine hut where you can relax and enjoy the panoramic views. Here, you can take a break before heading back along the same trail.
