Welcome to the hiking route at Parque de las Leyendas in Lima! This super easy circular route spans 1.31 kilometers with no elevation gain, making it perfect for all skill levels. Before embarking on your journey, make sure to bring plenty of water, wear comfortable shoes, and check the weather forecast.
As you start your hike at Parque de las Leyendas, you'll come across various points of interest along the way. Approximately 0.46 kilometers from the trailhead, you'll find the "Jirafas" attraction, followed by the historic "ruins" at 0.39 kilometers. Further along at 0.56 kilometers, you'll reach "Isla de los monos" where you can see monkeys in their natural habitat.
Continuing on, at 0.46 kilometers, you'll encounter the "Búfalos" attraction and at 0.55 kilometers, the archaeological site "Huaca Cruz Blanca". Don't miss the "Osos Pardos" and "Otorongos" attractions at 0.46 and 0.54 kilometers respectively.
Further down the trail, at 0.56 kilometers, keep an eye out for the "Sajinos" and "Tapires Amazonicos" attractions. At 0.57 kilometers, you'll find the "Tortugas" attraction and at 0.24 kilometers, the archaeological site "San Miguel".
Near the midpoint of your hike at 0.55 kilometers, you'll reach the "camp site" for a quick break. Additionally, at 0.1 kilometers, you can visit the "Zorro Andino" attraction and nearby restaurants for sustenance.
As you make your way back towards the starting point, don't forget to visit the "Espejo de Agua" attraction at 0.46 kilometers and the historic "ruins" at 0.46 and 0.54 kilometers respectively.
Throughout the hike, you'll also come across various amenities such as parking areas, water sources, viewpoints, and benches to rest and enjoy the surroundings.
