Hiking : Lago Gelato

This hiking route takes you through the beautiful scenic area surrounding Lago Gelato. The trail covers a distance of 9.584 kilometers with an elevation gain of 760 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike.

Starting at the parking area, you will begin your journey towards Lago Gelato. Along the way, you will pass by Lago di Nambino, a picturesque lake located 1.43 kilometers from the start of the trail. As you continue on, you will also come across Rifugio Lago di Nambino, an alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy the views.

Midway through the hike, at 4.43 kilometers from the start, you will encounter Lago Serodoli, another stunning lake that is slightly off the main trail. Further along the route, at 4.57 kilometers from the start, you will pass by another natural water feature before reaching your final destination, Lago Gelato, which is located 4.79 kilometers from the beginning of the trail.

It is important to note that the trail is an out-and-back route, so you will retrace your steps on the way back. Make sure to bring plenty of water, as the length and difficulty of the hike may require extra hydration.
