This hiking route will take you through the beautiful area surrounding Cap d'Urdet. The trail is a circular route with a total distance of 14.48 kilometers and an elevation gain of 699 meters, making it extremely difficult. It is recommended to plan for a duration of approximately 5 hours and 6 minutes for the hike.
As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area at the beginning of the trail where you can leave your vehicle. Make sure to bring plenty of water and snacks as there are limited facilities along the way. The first point of interest you will encounter is Font de Santa Margarida, a spring located only 0.03 kilometers from the start of the trail, providing a refreshing spot to rest and refill your water supply.
Further along the route, at approximately 6.47 kilometers from the beginning, you will reach Tres Collets, a saddle with beautiful scenic views. This is a great spot to take a break and admire the surrounding landscape before continuing on your journey.
One of the main highlights of the hike is the peak of Cap d'Urdet, located 7.16 kilometers from the start. Once you reach the summit, you will be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of the area. Additionally, Coll dels Belitres, another saddle along the trail at 5.47 kilometers from the start, offers a unique vantage point to appreciate the natural beauty of the region.
Although there is a viewpoint 7.08 kilometers into the hike, it is slightly off the main trail. If you have the time and energy, it may be worth the detour to enjoy the additional perspective of the surroundings.
