This beautiful trail offers a 3.194 km out-and-back experience with a total elevation gain of 0.0 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.
Starting at Erenstein parking, you will be immersed in the lush surroundings of the area. As you begin your journey, you will come across the majestic Kasteel Erenstein castle, a historic landmark just 0.06 km from the start. Continuing on, you will encounter several water features, including natural bodies of water, fountains, and even a zoo with various animal enclosures such as the Flamingovolière and Punavolière.
Along the way, you will find benches for resting and enjoying the scenery, as well as informative spots like viewpoints and information boards. Make sure to visit the Plateau van Gaia food court, wheelchair-accessible and perfect for a quick break at 1.26 km from the start.
At the turnaround point, you will find yourself at the end of the trail, with the option to retrace your steps back to the starting point.
