This challenging hiking route takes you through the stunning area of Carretera de Gallifa. The 7.363-kilometer circular trail has an elevation gain of 434 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding trek for experienced hikers.
You will start your journey at the parking area, conveniently located at the beginning of the trail. As you make your way along the path, you will pass by several points of interest. The first notable spot is Sant Sadurní de Gallifa, an attractive attraction just 3.58 kilometers from the start. Further along the trail, at 1.67 kilometers from the start, you will come across Sant Pere i Sant Feliu, another must-see attraction in the area.
About halfway through the hike, you will encounter Font de les Maioles, a natural spring located off the trail. As you continue your trek, be sure to take a moment to admire the panoramic views from the viewpoint at 3.64 kilometers from the start. Additionally, you can learn more about the area at the information point situated 3.22 kilometers from the beginning of the trail.
One of the highlights of the hike is reaching the peak of la Mola, a natural peak located 3.58 kilometers from the start. From here, you can enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. As you make your way back, you will pass by Turó del Grau and Serrat Alt, two more peaks that offer stunning vistas. Finally, you will reach Collet de Sant Sadurní, a natural saddle point, before completing the circular trail.
