This hiking route will take you to the beautiful area of Lac de Bastani - La Sulana. The trail is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 4.863 kilometers and an elevation gain of 416 meters, making it a moderate difficulty hike.
As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area at the beginning of the trail. It's always a good idea to park your car here before heading out. Along the way, you'll encounter a cafe at about 0.04 kilometers from the start where you can stop for a quick break and grab a refreshment.
Continuing on, at around 0.95 kilometers from the start, you'll find a shelter where you can rest and enjoy the surroundings. Further ahead, at 1.21 kilometers from the start, there is a water point where you can refill your water bottle and stay hydrated.
As you trek onwards, at 2.26 kilometers from the start, you'll reach an information point near Lac de Bastani. This is a great spot to learn more about the area and its natural beauty. Just a bit further, at 2.42 kilometers from the start, you'll reach Lac de Bastani itself, a stunning mountain lake that is definitely worth a visit.
On your way back, at around 2.43 kilometers from the start, you'll find another water point to refill your supplies. Additionally, at 0.0 kilometers from the start, there is an alpine hut called Refuge d'E Capanelle. This can be a great place to take a break and enjoy a meal before heading back.
