Welcome to the Rock Arch Bridge hiking route in the City of New York! This super easy out-and-back trail offers a leisurely stroll with a total distance of 0.772 kilometers and no elevation gain.
Starting off at the parking area located right at the trailhead, hikers will immediately be greeted by the Lower Pool, a beautiful water feature just 0.24 kilometers from the start. Continuing on, the trail passes by Ambergill at 0.33 kilometers, and Sullivan Hill at 0.35 kilometers, offering picturesque views of the natural surroundings.
For those interested in history, Rick's Place, a memorial site, can be found 0.37 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Further along, at 0.39 kilometers, be sure to stop and admire the waterfall at Rock Arch Bridge.
As you make your way back, you'll come across convenient facilities such as drinking water stations, BBQ areas, and picnic sites at 0.09 to 0.22 kilometers from the start. Benches are also scattered along the trail for a quick rest or to enjoy the tranquil ambiance.
