This extremely difficult 14.3-kilometer circular hike takes you through the stunning landscape of the tracciato ex funicolare area. The trail starts at the parking area and gradually ascends, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding natural beauty.
Along the way, you'll encounter several points of interest. About 1.1 kilometers from the start, you'll come across the historic ruins of Fonderia la Tuccia. Further along the trail, at around 2.5 kilometers from the start, you'll find the alpine hut Rifugio Troncea, a perfect spot to take a break and enjoy the scenery.
As you continue your journey, you'll pass by more historic ruins, such as La tensione and La polveriera, adding a touch of the area's rich past to your hike. Additionally, there are several information points and drinking water facilities conveniently located along the trail to keep you informed and hydrated.
Midway through the hike, at approximately 6.7 kilometers from the start, you'll reach Casotto del Beth, a wilderness hut where you can rest and recharge before continuing on your adventure.
