The trail is approximately 14.842 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 1091.0 meters, making it an extremely difficult hike that will test your endurance and fitness level.
As you embark on this circular route starting at Baracche vecchie, you will encounter various points of interest along the way. Around 1.1 kilometers from the start, you will come across the historic ruins of Fonderia la Tuccia, offering a glimpse into the area's past. Further along, at 2.43 kilometers, you will find the Alpine hut Rifugio Troncea, providing a rest stop with stunning views.
Midway through the hike, at 6.68 kilometers, you'll reach Casotto del Beth, a wilderness hut that serves as a shelter for weary hikers. Additionally, there are several drinking water points and information spots strategically placed throughout the trail to keep you informed and hydrated.
