This extremely difficult hiking route in Gerstgraben covers a distance of 14.831 kilometers with an elevation gain of 703 meters, taking approximately 5 hours and 11 minutes to complete.

Starting at the parking area near the trailhead, you will first encounter a water feature around 7.42 kilometers into the hike. This is a great spot to refill your water bottles. As you continue on, you will pass by the peak named Mitterberg at around 7.23 kilometers from the start. The peak offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding area and is a good place to take a break and enjoy the scenery.

This out-and-back route is challenging due to its length and elevation gain, so make sure to come prepared with plenty of water, snacks, and proper hiking gear. It is also recommended to check the weather forecast before embarking on this trek, as conditions can change rapidly in mountainous terrain.
