Welcome to the hiking route to Zehner peak! This challenging 9.2-kilometer out-and-back trail offers stunning views and a rewarding summit experience.

Starting at the parking area, you will begin your ascent towards Zehner peak. Along the way, you will pass by Schöneben Hutte, where you can take a break and enjoy some refreshments. This alpine hut is located 1.92 kilometers from the start of the trail, making it a great spot to refuel for the journey ahead.

As you continue your hike, you will come across Schihaus Schöneben, a restaurant located 1.64 kilometers from the trailhead. This is a perfect place to stop for a meal with a view before tackling the rest of the route.

Midway through the hike, at approximately 2.85 kilometers from the start, you will encounter a water feature that provides a serene backdrop for a rest stop. Take a moment to relax and recharge before pressing on towards the summit.

As you near the peak, you will pass by an information point and a wayside cross, adding to the cultural and historical richness of the trail. These points of interest are located close to each other, providing additional insight into the area's heritage.

Finally, as you reach the summit of Zehner peak at 4.6 kilometers from the start, you will be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Take some time to savor the accomplishment of reaching the top before beginning your descent back to the trailhead.
