Welcome to the hiking route on Loiblpass Straße! This is an 8.284-kilometer out-and-back trail with an elevation gain of 220 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding trek. The route will take approximately 2 hours and 28 minutes to complete.

Starting at the parking area, which is located right on the trail, you will begin your journey through the picturesque surroundings. Along the way, you will encounter various points of interest. At the beginning of the hike, about 1.03 kilometers from the start, you will come across a beautiful water feature perfect for a quick rest stop.

As you continue on, at around 4.09 kilometers into the hike, you will find the Thomasquelle spring, where you can refill your water bottles with fresh mountain spring water. Further along, at 1.54 kilometers from the start, a historic wayside shrine stands as a reminder of the area's cultural significance.

For a scenic break, at 4.14 kilometers from the start, a viewpoint offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape. You can rest and enjoy the beauty of nature at one of the benches located along the trail, at 0.36 and 0.0 kilometers from the start respectively.

Before heading back, make sure to replenish your water supply at the Quellwasser drinking water station, located 0.42 kilometers from the start. As this is a difficult hike with varying terrain, it is important to bring plenty of water, wear appropriate footwear, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this adventure.
