Welcome to the hiking route to Tübinger Hütte! This extremely difficult 14.6-kilometer out-and-back trail will challenge even the most experienced hikers. With an elevation gain of 1062 meters, be prepared for a strenuous climb that rewards you with stunning alpine views.
Starting off, you'll come across a parking area within 0.12 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Make sure to park your vehicle here before setting off on your adventure. As you progress, you'll reach the Vermuntstausee Seespitz information point at 0.12 kilometers. Take a moment to learn about the area before continuing your journey.
Further along the trail, at 4.16 kilometers, you'll encounter the Hochmadererjoch saddle. This natural feature offers a great spot to rest and take in the surrounding beauty. At the midway point, approximately 5.1 kilometers into the hike, you'll find another information point where you can gather more knowledge about the area.
Around 6.66 kilometers into the hike, you'll find a water source where you can refill your water bottles. Staying hydrated is crucial, especially on a challenging trail like this one. Finally, at 7.29 kilometers, you'll reach the Tübinger Hütte alpine hut, your ultimate destination. Rest and recharge at the hut before embarking on the return journey.
