The hike at Via Primo Maggio offers a challenging 6.51-kilometer route with an elevation gain of 690 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding trek for experienced hikers.
Starting at the parking area near the trailhead, hikers will pass by a water feature about 0.74 kilometers into the hike. There are also multiple parking spots available at various points along the trail.
As you continue on the trail, you will encounter several drinking water stations conveniently located at different points, ensuring you stay hydrated during your journey. One of the viewpoints along the way provides a stunning panoramic perspective at around 3.11 kilometers into the hike, giving you a chance to catch your breath and admire the scenery.
At approximately 2.58 kilometers into the hike, you will come across an information point where you can learn more about the area and its history. Further along the trail, about 0.58 kilometers from the starting point, there is a fountain for a refreshing break.
Near the end of the hike, at about 3.11 kilometers, you will reach the peak of Bric dei Pini, offering breathtaking views as a rewarding conclusion to your journey.
