This hiking route in the Tuxeck area is an extremely difficult 10.783-kilometer out-and-back trail with an elevation gain of 1428 meters. The trail will take you approximately 6 hours and 3 minutes to complete.
You'll start your journey at the Wegscheid parking area, where you can leave your vehicle before heading out onto the trail. Along the way, you'll pass by several points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, you'll come across the peak known as Treffauer, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Further along the trail, you'll encounter the Wasserfall waterfall, adding to the natural beauty of the hike.
As you continue your trek, you'll reach the peak of Tuxeck, where you can take in panoramic views of the area. Be sure to stop by the Schneekar information point to learn more about the region. Along the trail, you'll also find drinking water sources to stay hydrated and benches to rest along the way.
For a more challenging experience, consider climbing to Multerkarwand and König der Löwen for a unique adventure. As you reach the end of the trail, take a moment to appreciate the saddle point before turning back.
