Welcome to the hiking route to Monte Cornetto!

This challenging 8.492-kilometer out-and-back trail will take you through the stunning natural beauty of the area, offering an elevation gain of 571 meters along the way. It is estimated to take about 3 hours and 23 minutes to complete, so make sure to plan accordingly.

As you start your journey, you will come across various points of interest. At the very beginning of the trail, you will find a convenient parking area. As you progress, you will pass by Lago Mara, a beautiful natural water feature, and Capanna Viote, a welcoming restaurant where you can take a break and grab a bite to eat.

Further along the trail, you will reach Terrazza delle Stelle, a historic fort and viewpoint offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Additionally, you will encounter several benches and picnic sites where you can rest and enjoy the scenery.

For history enthusiasts, Castelletto Madruzziano, an ancient ruin, can be found a bit off the trail, about 1.08 kilometers from the start. Take some time to explore and imagine the stories of the past.
