This easy 2.274-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will take you to the stunning Roche de Solutré in the beautiful area. The trail starts at the parking area, where you should make sure to bring enough water and check the weather forecast before heading out.

As you make your way along the trail, you will come across several points of interest. About 0.06 kilometers from the start, you'll find the Gisement Préhistorique archaeological site, offering a glimpse into the area's historic past. Further along, at 1.05 kilometers from the start, there is a rock formation that adds to the natural beauty of the surroundings.

At 1.09 kilometers from the start, you'll encounter a climbing spot, perfect for adventure enthusiasts looking to add some excitement to their hike. And at 1.14 kilometers from the start, you'll reach the Roche de Solutré viewpoint, where you can take in breathtaking panoramic views of the area.
