This hiking route will take you through the beautiful area surrounding Fählenalp. The trail is an out-and-back type, starting at 817 meters elevation and reaching the destination at 1464 meters.

As you begin your hike, you will pass by the stunning Fählensee lake, located just 5 kilometers from the starting point. This picturesque spot is a perfect place to take a break and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Further along the trail, you will come across the Fählenalp alpine hut, also located 5 kilometers from the start. This is a great opportunity to experience the charm of a traditional mountain hut and maybe even try some local dishes.

If you're in need of sustenance, the Berggasthaus Bollenwees restaurant is just 4 kilometers away. Here you can refuel and recharge before continuing your journey. Another alpine hut, the Hundsteinhütte SAC, is also located 4 kilometers from the start, offering a cozy place to rest.

For adventure seekers, there is a climbing area called Klettergarten located 4 kilometers from the start, providing a thrilling challenge for climbers of all levels.

Along the route, you will also find various points of interest such as information spots, a barbecue area, benches for resting, and a shelter for protection from the elements.

Remember to bring plenty of water, snacks, and appropriate hiking gear. Check the weather forecast before heading out and make sure to take breaks when needed. This hike covers a distance of 11.54 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1037 meters, so be prepared for a moderately challenging trek.
