This hiking route takes you through the beautiful alpine region towards Fählenalp. The 11.54-kilometer trail offers stunning views and a total elevation gain of 1072 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike.

Starting at Nasseel parking lot, you will begin your journey towards Fählensee, a picturesque lake located 5.06 kilometers from the start. This serene lake is a perfect spot to take a break and enjoy the tranquility of the surroundings.

Continuing on, you will pass by Berggasthaus Bollenwees, a mountain guesthouse located 4.3 kilometers from the start. This is a great place to refuel and rest before continuing your hike.

Further along the trail, at the 5.77-kilometer mark, you will reach Fählenalp, an alpine hut where you can experience the local hospitality and maybe even spend the night.

As you make your way back, be sure to stop at the Klettergarten (climbing area) and Saxerlücke, a mountain pass with breathtaking views, located 4.41 and 3.4 kilometers from the start respectively.

Throughout the hike, you will also come across several amenities such as benches, shelters, and BBQ areas, providing convenient rest stops along the way.

Given the length and elevation gain of the hike, it is recommended to bring plenty of water, snacks, and to check the weather forecast before embarking on this adventure.
