This challenging 9.025-kilometer hiking route to Cime de Tuor offers a rewarding trek through scenic landscapes in the area. The trail starts at a parking area near Pointe des Trois Communes and passes by several points of interest along the way.
At the beginning of the hike, you will come across the Casernement de la Pointe des Trois Communes, an ancient ruins site that showcases the area's historical significance. Further along the trail, you will reach La Redoute des 3 Communes, a historic fort that offers a glimpse into the past.
As you continue your journey, you will encounter the Baisse de St Véran and AP du Col de Raus, two natural saddles that provide stunning panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. Along the way, be sure to visit the Monument des Fusiliers Marins, a monument honoring the brave sailors of the region.
