This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Monte Mia. The trail is 9.413 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 905 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take approximately 4 hours and 26 minutes to complete.
As you start your hike, you will come across Napoleonov Most, a historic attraction just 0.14 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Further along, at 0.85 kilometers from the start, you will find a cave entrance known as Nad Pradolom. Be sure to explore these points of interest along the way.
About midway through the hike, at 2.09 kilometers from the start, you will reach Colle Clabociana / Globočanec, a peak offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding area.
As you continue on the trail, you will pass by Ricovero Casera Monte Mia, a wilderness hut and shelter located 2.87 kilometers from the start. This is a great spot to take a break and enjoy the natural surroundings.
At around 4.71 kilometers from the start, you will reach Monte Mia itself, another peak with breathtaking views. Additionally, Mia/Mija viewpoint is located at the same point, providing an ideal spot to rest and take in the scenery.
Throughout the hike, you will also encounter water sources at various points to refill your supply. It is important to bring an adequate amount of water, especially on a challenging hike like this one.
